Ice Dragon 2018 Fencing Tournament!

Fencing this year is brought to you by Don Behrend von Elmendorf.

Tournament format is bear pit.

Fighters will be directed to next open list, no choosing.

Fighting will commence upon entry to the list and at the direction of the marshals.

1 point for entry, 1 for a win. In a case of a double kill both fighters will be awarded 1 point for entry and both will leave the list.

Looser(s) reports to MoL

5 win max. After five consecutive wins the fighter must leave the list and re-enter the waiting line.

Wounds are not retained between fights.

Unlike heavy fighters fencers may take a knee unless they are wearing armor or protection that may harm the floors. In this case the marshal will direct them in the proper course of action.

Weapon restrictions: Don Behrend von Elmendorf has requested no daggers and no case in the tournament. All other forms are permitted.

Special prize: Fencers are encouraged to make “Ice Dragon” themed parry objects for use in the tournament. The parry objects are subject to all the normal rules for objects of that type and must pass inspection. A prize will be awarded to the best themed parry object of the day.

These are the Rules at this time, they are subject to change prior to the date of Ice Dragon if needed, and will be posted at the event. Please direct question to Magnus de Lyons who is assisting Don Behrend with promotion and communication of fencing activities.
